About the "Best of Blue & Gold" Program
Welcome to the Best of Blue & Gold! Each week CFCS staff members will receive a Tech Tuesday email. Complete the weekly Tech Tuesday to earn an entry into the weekly drawings and to earn individual awards. Weekly drawings will take place on Tuesday mornings. Winners will be announced in the Tech Tuesday email.
The Best of Blue & Gold kicks off in November and runs through the end of April.
Week 3 - Tuesday, November 19th
It's week 3, and it's time for our first Copley Cup Tech Tuesday! This week, we are continuing our focus on AI and Google Gemini by looking at how Gemini can help us take our email messages to the next level. With Fall Break coming up, you will have two weeks to complete this Tech Tuesday. Submissions are due by the end of the day on Monday, December 2nd. The name of one lucky staff member will be drawn from all submissions to win the Ello brand Copley Cup!

Contact Hour Opportunities
Submit a Lesson Plan - 1 Contact Hour Per Lesson Plan
Take what you've learned from a Tech Tuesday and turn it into a classroom lesson. Earn one contact hour per lesson plan submitted. Teachers can submit one lesson plan for each instructional Tech Tuesday. For more information, check out the BBG Contact Hour Submission Form.
Lumio Academy Courses - Up to 5 Contact Hours
Increase your Lumio knowledge through the Lumio Academy. Complete the Getting Started with Lumio course to earn one contact hour. Advance your Lumio skills by completing the Level 1 Lumio educator course. You will receive a certificate after each of the four lessons in the course.
Google's Generative AI for Educators Course - 2 Contact Hours
In this course, you’ll explore how to use generative AI tools to assist your teaching practice by saving time on everyday tasks, personalizing instruction to meet student needs, and enhancing lessons and activities in creative ways. Google's Generative AI for Educators Course
Become a Google Certified Educator - 15 Contact Hours
Complete the Google Fundamentals training and pass the Level 1 exam or complete the Advanced Google training and pass the Level 2 exam to earn 15 contact hours.
